West Tennessee Marine and Reef Aquarium Club Nov. 17, 2011
Board Members and Members present:

Others Present: Bryan Childress, Robin Hampton, Lindsey Lomabardo, Cody Wilson and Dad, Lettie Blundon.
6:30 Meeting was held at Fox Ridge Pizza. The Club sponsored the pizza, while some folks bought Sandwiches and a selection of hot and cold Beverages :beer:
7:15 Club Secretary and Treasurer Bill Hampton brought the meeting to order and he gave the Treasurers Report on all three Club accounts (Checking, Savings and Paypal). This club currently has no outstanding debts. There are still a couple of additional amounts owed to the club in reimbursements from the 2011 Frag Swap.
The 2012 Frag Swap was briefly discussed. Authorization was voted on and approved, IF we could get the 2012 rate for the same price as 2011. All October Saturdays were booked. Bill Hampton negotiated and booked our 2012 requirement. They have Sept 29th Saturday available, and so we grabbed the date and pre-paid for the hall, saving the Club 50% Off!!!
Thus, the 2012 Frag Swap will be held on September 29th, 2012.
Proposed changes to the Club By-Laws were presented to the Membership (see our Website for the full list of proposed changes). They were discussed amended and later approved by all attending to be voted on at the next meeting in January.
We will forgo a December meeting due to the Holidays.
In January, we will have a "Holiday Party" on Jan. 14th to be tentatively held at the Fox Ridge Pizza on that Saturday. The Club will pay for Pizza and soft drinks and have some raffle prizes for paid Club Members. We will have a short program and ring in our new Officers at that time.
Nominations for 2012 Officers were conducted at the previous meeting and voted on. The Club elected the following Officers:

Congrats to our new Leadership!
Rental Space is a new requirement, so we're actively looking for a 5x10' Space centrally located to our membership. Please contact any of us with some cost-effective ideas.
Door Prizes were raffled to Members:
"¢ 2 each, $25 gift certificates from Kermits Reef
"¢ Several different Saltwater fish and Reef foods
"¢ Reef Epoxy

The Meeting adjourned at approx 8:30 PM

We wish you well Bill, in your new-found retirement from WTMRAC, but he'll remain as a Board Member, per our By-Laws, as the incumbent.
