Club Meetinngs

New member
I have a suggestion for a future meeting. We have had a few new members join the club recently. The reason for joining to learn how to set up aquarium and how to do things the right way. Example : Getting nitrites, phosphate down etc. What works for the members that have done it with success. How about a speaker on these types of things or have some of the senior members who have been successful like Chris,Mike,Joe,Anthony etc. Inform these new members of the way they did things from experience. How to do it things without elaborate systems.I feel this will help a new member when he purchases corals with the confidence that the corals will not die on them in 2 weeks. The meetings lately have no one there and we need these new members.
Just a suggestion

That's not a bad idea, and would definitely help new-comers.

I actually have been meaning to join LIRA for years but haven't yet.

We have approached a few members already with this exact idea in mind, as soon as they tell us they have a presentation ready we'll lock in a date for them.

I'm a new member and that would help me GREATLY! But then again I hope that more experienced members wont feel like it's a waste of time.
