CMAS Members:

I am trying to put together a Frag Swap Committee. This committee would help set up, monitor and break down Frag Swaps. This has been a chore in the past, but with your help, we can make this a fun event! Every Frag Swap Committee person will get a free, much in demand, highly coveted, CMAS T-Shirt!

What dates / times would we be needed? I work 60hrs a week, so if i can fit it in ill be there! Im sure you can use a young strapping lad such as myself. haha

We need the most help the day of the Frag Swap.
 
Do you have a list of current sponsors and sponsors you've contacted? I put together our swap in Knoxville for a couple of years and have a few contacts I keep up with. I have somewhat taken a hiatus from the hobby and activity with any clubs since moving to IL, but my wife has been after me to join CMAS and get back into reef keeping... I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Just LMK.
 
I am not a registered CMAS member, but Ill be glad to help before/during/after the swap. Let me know if I can assist....
 
New CMAS member, I can get out there 10:30 ish to help set up if you don't mind my 9 yr old sidekick.

Committee Help Wanted!

CMAS is forming committees to help make the club run effectively and efficiently. Committee members must be a CMAS member in good standing.


The committees and their functions include:

Membership: will assist the Membership Chairperson in maintaining integrity of membership database. can help in signing new membersat meetings, frag swaps, and other club related events.

Frag Swap: will help in set up, running and tear down of Frag Swap Area.

LFS: will contact CMAS supporting LFS for raffle items; maintain positive relationship between CMAS and LFS; assist in coordinating "CMAS Member Events".

Vendors: will contact and maintain a positive relationship between CMAS and vendors; will ask for donations for meetings and Frag Swap. Reports to Prize Committee Chairperson.

Marketing: will be responsible for sending out emails regarding club events; post notices on Facebook, Twitter and Reef Forums.

If you would like to step up and help build CMAS, please email me at rsosolik@cmas.net. Please specify what committee position you want and explain why you are best suited for that particular position. Once we have enough volunteers, we will have a Committee Meeting in order to introduce everybody and explain the responsibilities of each committee going forward. These committees need to be in place by September 2011. Every person that comes forward and helps out on a committee will receive a highly coveted CMAS T-shirt.<O:p</O:p
 
Wish I could be there Bob...we know how much my voice could carry during the drawings. Maybe if I can find a tank here I could make a trip to Chicago for a couple of days...get some things I need and give you a hand too!
