CMAS Southside Frag Swap - 10/14!!!

That's right woodchuck chuckers! It's the first 2006-07 CMAS sponsored Frag Swap! And it's on the Southside finally!

Here's the details.....

Location: VFW Hall, 11800 S. Cicero Avenue, ALSIP, IL

Date: Saturday, October 14, 2006

Time: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Fine Print: Tables will be limited. Sellers need to register - Email or PM me to sign up!

CMAS member sellers - No charge
Non member sellers - $25.00
Non member cover - $10.00

Doors will open to CMAS members at 1:00PM, Non-members at 2:00 PM

I wish you guys would do more stuff like this. Maybe more south siders would join CMAS. I can't make meetings in Schaumburg at 1pm on Saturdays. I work from 1am until 1pm Mon-Sat. I'm happy to see an event like this. I hope there will be more to follow.

Okay, so put away your Des Plaines map, bypass the NW Suburban map, forget Chicago too! Look at the bottom of the pile and you'll find one that shows Chicago South and NW Indiana. Yes, it's almost into Indiana!

According to the CMAS website it is not in Alsip anymore it is in West Chicago. Here is a quote from the website.

Ok it was confirmed that the date is the 14th and not the 21st since both dates were listed on the CMAS website under "details".

Is it now moved to Alsip or is this an additional south side swap occuring at the same time?

A little disheartening that the location was on the website for several weeks and now it's suddenly changed.

Guess I'll cancel the day off work I requested after confirming the date.

Good news is the frags will be bigger for the next one.
