I know that this is a another dumb question but I need to know why.
I was on the net and saw a CO2 generator. Out of curiosity I looked at it. It was designed for green houses and was just a metal box that has burners in it.
These units produce 3 cubic feet per burner, per hour and they typically come with several of them.

I don't know much about CO2 reactors but they have controllers that limit the amount of gas that is injected into the water. I don't know how much CO2 is needed for these units.
Could you get CO2 from the pilot lights of appliances in the house?
I thing that I could just pull the exhaust from the housing unit with a high temp tube that goes to a normal one and finally into a standard air pump. The two issues that I see are that there might not be enough volume and the CO2 might come with so much regular air that the concentration would be too low. Carbon Monoxide is suppose to be less of an issue in a clean burning blue flame.
Is this just not worth the trouble?
