Code used on Skimmer function

This is the case, the way I have my system installed is, a feed pump is what gives water to my skimmer once the skimmer is filled with water (20 secs approx) the skimmer pump starts skimming, I have to turn my skimmer off during nighttime as where the tank is right now it would wake up my kids, so I need to manually do this everyday, I was reading about the Defer action, I programmed my skimmer pump outlet with this code and as of now it's been working well (1 hour LOL), still, I need professional advice if it's ok or will I stumble against a wall at some point.

Set OFF
If Outlet PUMP-FEED = ON Then ON
Defer 002:00 Then ON

I forced different situations with success, the skimmer pump has a 2 min delay which is plenty of time for water to fill the skimmer body and then skimmer pump commences, once the feed pump goes off the skimmer pump goes off as well.

Thanks and sorry if I quite didn't explain the scenario well.

Forgot to add my skimmer is External, this is why it needs the feed pump.
