If I may make one suggestion on your rock work...
Try making two separate islands. A big one on the left, and a small one on the right.
Will add a little more interest with the asymmetry, will allow your fish to swim between the islands, and you will have more options for placing things on the sand bed.
If you need it, you can use the two-part marine epoxy to hold rocks together.
I still have a few pounds to add to the aquascape. The tank is small and I used this to maximize places for coral frags to grow on the upgrade build I will use a better aquascape.
I put on my jebao wp-10 I think I should have ordered a wp-25 but with 2 other powerheads and return I've got some good flow thru the tank no deadspots. The phoenix bulb is great and the corals are loving the mixed flow and high par. There is still a few patches of algea from my qt tank that I had some nitrates in. I test every Wed. and Sat. and keep a logbook detailing every move. 0 No3 .15 Phos 480 calcium 9 dkh. The only problem I have had is that the removable glass panel that had to 1 5/8 holes to drain into the wet dry section kept getting clogged after about 6 days. I removed the panel and used acylic and drilled a lot of smaller 1/4 inch holes hopefully it will make the prefilter pads last longer.
My cleanup crew has been working on getting the bits of algea cleaned up but I might add another emerald crab. I am thinking about carbon dosing after I let the dkh come down to 7 or so. To eliminate the phosphate and nitrate. I'm testing 0 No3 but I think there is a bit in the system and .15 phosphate isn't perfect. I think about 1 ml to 1.5 ml per gallon should keep the tank perfect.
Here some pics after coral adjustment and glueing.
Next update will be with the rest of fish and if I have time to get to a good lfs some acropora corals.
