Coffee Table Reef Aquarium

You know I was wondering that myself. I would guess they used Livesand in the bags and Cured live rock.

Definitly monitor the water paras closely and get some salt water mixing for water changes. Get a clean up crew in there asap to help with it.

If it starts heading south during the cycle and dont have another tank I am sure there are reefers in your area to keep the clown and flame angel healthy. Damsels should be fine though.

Best of luck , any questions always feel free to ask , best place for quick advise ~.

Neat tank.

That said, from the dates of the pictures, it looks like you completely stocked it in 3 days, or went backwards in about a year.

If you just bought it, you're going to have a lot of issues and possibly dead critters as the tank and live rock cycles.

Monitor the water parameters closely and be prepared to do a lot of water changes.

Who makes the tank?

Best of luck,

Roy

yeah, actually i pulled about 20lbs live sand out of a previous tank then added an extra 20lbs bag, also some live rocks and about 10gallons of water out of my previous tank. I waited about a few days then added the flame, chromises, and recently added more live rocks. Everything is running pretty smooth so far.

About keeping the glass clean;
the surface of the water to the top glass piece is about 6-7 inches, salt doesnt get up there... as far as how to clean the tank, the top glass piece can be easily removed, pretty thick glass.. safer with 2 people removing it.
