Guys i have a question i have a 4x2x2 cold saltwater macro algae tank with anemones fish a shell fish etc.
Question is i was keeping my tank at 19 degrees with my chiller and ran into a few ich problems and i lost a wrasse. Anyway ive since lowered my temp to 17 degrees and now after 2 months i havent seen it since and all my other fish are fine. Can anyone confirm if ich doesnt like being under 19 degrees? Much appreciated. For someone like myself it would.be great safeguard.

Studies have shown that Cryptocaryon goes into some form of hibernation if the water temperature drops below 19 °C. However, as soon as the temperature goes above that threshold, the parasite comes back to life. (Burgess 1992)
You can download the full thesis from that link if you are interested in the detailed findings of the study.

Though the study also mentions that there have been reports of a cold water strain or similar parasite species that is active at far lower temperatures.
