Colin's anglefish on DD last night?

Hey copps do you have any pictures of your colini pair?

Here's the pair... male to the right... this in a system before I got confident with them...

It depends which soft corals... most yes... and I've had the trio or regals together now for almost five years... not normal... but doable...

"Megan and I share tastes in tanks and fish. I have a little colini in with my carmabi and McCulloughs. I think she should be with me, instead of you, Mike."

She is beautiful, smart, funny and likes all the same things as me (fish tanks, fishing, motocross (she rides), hunting and cars). She is the perfect girl, you can try taking her, but I will put a fight ;)

She does have good tastes in fish. How do you like your colin's?

Thanks for the pictures John! Amazing!!

Congrats on the purchase Michael, I'm sure he'll do well in your care.

Ps Copps, how long and where did you get the A. leucosternon x A. nigricans from? Cocos ?

Thanks massman... I've had that fish for maybe four years now... they are not terribly rare here in the states, and are exported out of Indonesia I believe where the species overlap... I also have an Acanthurus nigricans/ A. achilles hybrid... Good eye by the way! :) The fish is not from Cocos-Keeling, although Centropyge colini was discovered there by Pat Colin along with Genicanthus bellus and Centropyge joculator... all in the same one month trip in 1974! :)

Thanks copps.
Must've been out of Western Indo, maybe Bali.
I have never seen one here, but have seen several whilst diving off Christmas Island (I.O). As no collecting is done there, I guessed Cocos.
Saw no Colini's off Christmas though, which was surprising, even down around 150ft. More Joculators than I could count. Literally hundreds and hundreds. They were a great depth gauge, quite incredible really, the first ones were seen bang on 20m (60ft) depth, nothing shallower. This was noticed at all the dive sites I visited. Drop down to 20, here they come!
