Can anybody collect conspicuous angelfish with the proper permit. Also does anybody have the link to the permit to collect in new caledonia.

Oh, yeah lets see the pics of your conspicuous angels!

I can't help you with your question but I have a pic I've saved
for along time. This is not my pic. I've been drooling over it for years!!
If you go bring me back one this size.

Yea, looks like he's got a death grip on it..

With the proper permit, you can do about anything. I'd check with the Fish & Wildlife department where you're interested in collecting.

i know the legal brisbane collector and he told me in 2 years he has only collected 1
Thy are rare in the wild

Keep in mind the differences when you're collecting with a commercial interest are very different and more stringent, then if you were collecting for yourself with no intent to sell the fish. (not sure from the sounds of the original post, what you were wanting to do)

My friends pet shop got 12 boxes the other day

Yuri, keep in mind that those collected along the Australian mainland are most likely waifs from offshore populations... including those in Brisbane waters... even where there are breeding populations conspics are not a very common fish with high population densities anywhere really...
