How big does an acro colony need to be to sustain an acro crab. I wants' me one! My LFS has an interesting acro that is growing very well, mulitlple branches, about 3"x4". I dont want to kill an acro crab.

I have two mini colinies that size that came with acro crabs, two different crabs. Both are doing great.

It's strange to me when I hear people say how much they like acro crabs. I think they are neat but when you have a few you just don't notice them. Also most people around my area have some because they come on many wild and maricultured corals (ie.very common). Where as in the US you guys are more into aquacultured, which personally I think is better. Also I always end up lossing the acro crabs because I end up getting red bugs from trading and then have to use interceptor.

Dip your coral before entering them into the diplay and you will have acro crabbies!

Im very careful with my corals that I add, and have no pests as of yet, I just love the idea of comensal crabs
