why is so much missing? is this what they should look like when you first get em? i ordered a medium 5"-7".................looks like i got a 5"-7" rock and a 2"-3" colony =(

Its not a bad looking piece! It just looks like some of them are still closed up. Give 'em a few days to open fully!

i do see the closed ones, but its all spread out it seems, when they grow dont they stick together?

whoa, that fast? is it ok to keep them on bottom? i know it depends on your lights, i have 8 bulb t-5 , i have a pink millepora about 3 inches above them that is colored nice, i figured if it gets enuff light ,these will be fine? i had to move my croceas up from bottom however............... reason i ask , placement on live aquaria says middle to upper of tank but i dont want them taking over...........

Wasn't that WYSIWYG in the diver's den?

no, colony polyp super colored in polyp listings, medium

Medium to low flow. They're tolerant of many light conditions but grow fastest when higher up in the tank. That rock looks ok to me, just give it some time, the gaps will fill in fast.
