Color fading from yumas

I have a colony of yumas that have been doing well for a few months. They open up fully but seem to be losing color turning almost white from their former purple. I've tried moving them for more light, but nothing has worked. It seems that only the larger specimens are affected. Any suggestions please.

I've had yumas do that with too much light. They recovered after I put them into caves for a month or so.

Some people say dosing iodine can help, if it had been too low.
