Color Loss From Lack Of Nutrients, Need Nitrates!

I'm looking for some advice to bring up my nitrates. I'll give a quick over view of my tank so you know what I've got going on.

66G SCA; Extremely SPS dominate. 4 months old.

Filtration: ~40lbs of Real Reef Rock/Fuji Rock. 3L SeaChem Matrix. Vertex Omega 180i Protein Skimmer. ~100mL Bio-Pellets.

Since installing my calcium reactor, I've just been doing about 10% water changes, twice a week. Which I'm thinking of making that once a month since my nutrients are so low and the trace elements are getting added back in via Calcium Reactor.

I'm having trouble keeping my Color in some of my pieces while others are just as bright since the day they went in the tank.

My red planet and red robin stag have taken the biggest color loss. While pieces like my Blue Matrix or RR Wolverine are fully colorful.

Im not much of a tester so before yesterday I haven't tested my nitrate levels since my cycle was over 3 months ago. Yesterday I decided to see where they are at. 0ppm-1ppm via Red Sea Test kit.

Alk sits at 9dKH now with the reactor set up. Getting great growth from everything even the pieces that are practically white. (Red Planet, Palleta Pink Tip).

Can my nitrates take this much of a effect in color on verifiable pieces but not others or is it something else?

I run ZEOvit and I've noticed two things...

My sweet spot for alk is 8.3. ZEOvit recommends 7.5-8
Also, my nutrients were so poor, obviously.. I was having pale acropora as well.
I started adding ME Amino Acids to my tank at 3ml a day. I'm running a 56 gallon tank.

I have never seen my corals so bright and happy. A lot of my colors are coming back, I love it!

Right on I'll have to try it! I'm between that and Red Sea Colors.
