Color lost on Slimer

Can anyone tell me if this is STN?

I have had this Green Slimmer for over 6 months. About 2-3 months of having the coral it has lost its color on it's tissue. Full polys extension and never showed signs of stress or something agitating it. This coral is place middle high in my tank.

The is a second Green Slimer on my frag rack which I received a few months ago. The same thing is starting to happen. This has only effect the Slimmer and no other corals have been affect.

Water Test
Salinity - 1.026
ALK - 8.6 (Salifert)
CA - 470 (Salifert)
MAG - 1350 (Salifert)
Phosphate - .008 (Deltec Tester)
Nitrates - 0 (Salifert)

I dose 2 part and Magnesium. I always dose daily Iodine (Lugol Solution).

It looks to me like it wants more food, or it wants to be lower in light and its bleached out.

probably less light, it looks healthy because of the polyps and such, but may have released some of the Zoox because it was not needed with the amount of light it was receiving.

Yeah, my Slimer showed more PE and color when I moved it lower, middle height of the tank.

how much flow is it direct flow and is the faded part on the side of the flow? that is what happen to me when i put it by the mp40 i lost one side too much flow then i put it in the middle lower light and bamm came right back only the lower sections loose color not because it is a large piece and i guess the light isn't getting to the lower sections like the top parts which are radiant and full of polyps ,good luck they look good ..

seems like they received too much lights.
i have my colonies in two diff places..the one on the sand bed always seem to be happy and it is really green. The other one located at mid low light looks more yellow then green and it grows way slower. IMO

No, I do not have any corals in front of the Tunze. My previous tank I had MP40 and pretty much almost blast the tissue off the coral. LOL. If it was too much flow issue shouldn't the polyps on that side be receded?

not necessarily see corals are a partnership between to animals once being actually algae which is Zooxanthellae. The other being of course the polyps, which create the corals structure. The Zooxanthellae basically use the coral for a place to stay and feed off of light, while the polyps also use the Zooxanthellae for light feeding, while eating things in the water and growing the structure.

so the Zooxanthellae may have been released on just one side. One example is on a lot of corals the back side that gets no light may have polyps, but no color. This is because there is not much to feed on for the Zooxanthellae to absorb back there.

Here is a FTS and the Green Slimer is underneath the Orange LyreTail. My tank is 30" tall and I really don't think it is too high in the tank to cause bleaching. The Tunze is up away from the frag too.
The frag rack was move temporarily to take the picture.

30" deep is pretty deep what lighting do you have and how far from the surface? for instance my 150w is only 3-4 inches from surface and my sps sit real high up in the tank like 6-9 inches from light!

I used to have 2 X 400W MH LB and was mounted 18" from the water surface. I just switch to ATI T5 8x54W. It is 3" from the surface of the water.
