color spectrum help

I have a 75 gallon with 2 175 and 2 110watt VHO what color spectrum would be best for sps's

or something else

For growth you want to go with the 10,000k MH bulb , and use an actinic bulb for the VHO, this combination will give you growth and good color.

color is for your eyes. Wattage is for the reef and is dependent on depth. For most tanks 175 is sufficient. For more than 30 to 36 inches deep go to 250 and even 400 watts. Spacing is important too

You would be in great shape with the new iwasaki 14k bulbs and actinic IMO. These might be helpful?

The thing to remeber is not all 10k bulbs are the same as with the other color bulbs. My old Hamilton 14k's had low par and too much blue imo. My new Iwasaki Aqua2 14k's have much more par and are more inline with a crisp non-yellow 10k color-wise. I think Ideally the iwasaki 6500k, Xm10k or Iwasaki aqua2 14k with actinic supplimentation for overall color and growth.
