colors better or worse???

I would say that the bulk of whatever color change was going to happen would have happened already.
To me that coral looks a little bit lightish. It's not enough information to say for sure, but I have a hunch that increasing organic nutrients (while keeping inorganic low) would deepen the color some if that's what your after.

they probably aren't. I have a 713 Hanna checker it's not the ultra low range one, but it says 0.
To be honest I never check them but I knew someone would ask given the tint of brown so I checked it today. as far a nitrates I don't check those too often either but when I do its always under 5. so i wouldn't say I'm running 0.
oh and I read that wrong thought it said zero but no I don't run ZEO only thing I add is kalk.

Yeah, or whatever. I feed Misys (but don't thaw first I just hold it next to my powerhead to blast it everywhere) then turn off my skimmer on a timer for 30 min so the corals get the little bits. I also feed coral foods like Oyster feast, Zooplancton, oyster eggs, etc - all these foods get rotated but I feed twice a day, for the corals in the morning when the lights are out, and for the fish when the lights are on.
