Colour Change due to change in Lightning and water.

Almost three weeks ago I bought some Zoanthid Frags from a local reefer who ran his tanks under Actinics only. Since introducing them into my tank with 10000K and Actinics they have all changed in apperance, one in particular.


Before: 27th April



After: 17th May



Its the one in the foreground, not the one in the background.

I've heared that corals can change colour with changes in lighting but I didn't realize how different the coral could appear.:hmm4:

Different water conditions and lighting can change a corals color. What might be purple in someone's tank, might be brown in another. You use different lighting, that's a factor, different water conditions, that's a factor, different placement, even an inch closer/higher to the light can make all the difference.
