Many people confuse the kenyatree with colt coral. The kenya tree is very easy to propogate. The colt coral however is very difficult to propagate with cuttings. the main problem is that colt coral frag refuses to attach to substrate. One must use well though out methods to get them attached to a rock. They can easily escape from many form of attachment. If u are indeed tryin g to attach a colt coral. i would squeeze the frag between to rocks held together with a rubber band and not touch it for at least a month.
Best trick I've found for getting colt frags to attach is to place them in a bowel of rubble in a low current area. After a bit of time, they will attach themselves to the rubble in the bowel. Any other method of mechanical attachment invariably fails. The cutting part is real easy, a sharp pair of scissors
