colt coral

I bought a colt coral Tuesday and acclimated and placed it my tank. Was a little stressed but placed it in the tank. Figured it would straighten up after it became acclimated. The trunk was touching a small kenya tree that had fragged itself. Did some chores came back and decided to put the colt on the bottom of the tank. In that short of time it had released some fluid when I moved it. Within a few days the the whole colt turned to mush. Tried to save and frag the tip but they disinegrated also. I thought a coral would get aggrivated by touching another coral but never had one go down in that short of time. All other corals are good parameters are good. Never thought a 1 inch kenya will kill a colt less than a week.

Sounds as if the Colt was sick to begin with. I really doubt the contact with the Kenya Tree would damage it.
