Hi Gerrit,

No, I don't think it's a Mitrella, although I don't recognize the species. It looks like it's either a true Columbella species, or possibly a Euplica. I am on vacation and don't have any references at the moment, other than the internet. I didn't quickly find a good match. It has sculpture on the shell, although it's not very strong. Still, that is enough to separate it from the smooth-shelled species, as well as the strongly-sculptured columbellids. It may be just an aberrant form of one of the common super variable species, but I can't assign it to any candidate with certainty. I'll work on it some more when I get back to my books!
