Agreed. Go to phishy business and reef systems they are in the same general area but on the opposite side of Columbus than Hilliard. Bring a big cooler with you! You'll need it.
Don't mean to hijack this thread but I am also going down there this weekend for a wedding. The wedding reception is at 6:30, I am planning on staying there till about 10-11 then heading back home. What is the best way to keep stuff alive if I am going to purchase anything from the fish stores down there? Any advice guys? I am bringing a cooler but don't know what else to bring as the stuff I might buy would be sitting in my car for at least 4-6 hours, thats not counting the time it takes for me to get home.
If you are really worried about the heat you could bring a cooler pack (ice substitute thingy) and place it in the cooler but far away from the livestock to keep the inside a little cooler for a few hours. I would not worry too much personally. Just use a good styrofoam cooler and it will keep things pretty stable for hours. They also reflect most of the light and heat that are hitting them since they are bright white.
I have an old Omaha Steaks cooler that keeps things just right. I have left fish/corals in my car during the frag swaps and then a long ride home without issues.
