As has been hinted at for a while, COMAS is having a fund raiser GARAGE SALE! The proceeds will go towards making CRASE a big success. 10% of the sales amount will be donated to COMAS or you can donate all of the sales amount. We want this to be huge!
Ours will be held Sat. Aug. 18th at Wayne and Amanda's home on the south side of OKC. We will be selling any kind of items; not just aquarium things. Any person whose total sales contribution to us is over $50 will receive a free ticket to CRASE.
Please every one, go through your trash to find other's treasures. Here are some "do's" for the sale.
• Have items to Wayne's or my house by Fri. 8/17. The earliest we can collect things is the weekend before. I have room but check with Wayne to see if he does.
• Make an inventory list with your items and the lowest amount you will take for them. Leave your phone # with us so we can call you.
• Price your items with the highest amount you would like to make. Mark the items with your initials and number by your name below. Masking tape works well to do this. If you wish to donate your items' sales amount you don't have to price and label but we need time to do that ourselves.
• All items not sold will be put out for pick up on Mon. by a free service if owner doesn't get his stuff by Sun pm.
I need volunteers to help Fri. evening making sure everything is at Wayne’s and priced. I need volunteers to work the sale. We will open at 8:30 AM. (Wonder if Wayne knew this.) So I need volunteers to be at his house by 7:30. Please pm me if you can work the sale any time during Sat. or if you have any questions.
We will collect the money and get it to you either at Wayne's on the south side or by me, NW, but you must come get it. The club doesn't guarantee safety of or profit from your items. We are human and mistakes will be made. If you wish to watch over your treasures come help!
