COMAS-OMAS and SOMAS Joint meeting, 2006

I have talked with Eric West (current President of OMAS) and Paul Thompson (current President of SOMAS) regarding a joint meeting between all of our groups.

I have no set ideas yet as to date or venue, but Im sure we will work something out. Ideally early summer would be the best time, both for planning and organizing speakers. I would like to have a series of presentations, at least one from each group and maybe a frag swap .....but as I said, no set plans yet....just keeping you guys informed.

I had an idea. How about a huge auction of stuff. The proceeds could benefit a conservation group of our choosing.

I see what you're getting at I figured a COMAS only auction would be a better idea for that.
