COMAS Tank Tour June 13th, 2009

If you have not received the tank tour package, please send me a PM and i will get a copy to you.

Also, the arrow on the map to George Adkins is displaced. His house is on the North/South section of Taurus drive, not the East West part as displayed. An updated map will be sent in teh next day or so.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Paul.

If you are joining in on the tour, please note, a correction was emailed out to all the members addresses. If you have not received the correction, please let me know.

Start at any of the homes listed in the packet and choose any order to go round the homes. This helps keep congestion down.

Alos, please plan to arrive after 12:00 noon. I am sure many oeople, including myself, will be busy getting ready ubntil the last minute.

The tour finishes at 6.00, please keep that in mind as you travel.

I hope everyone has a great day and drive safely,

Paul.

Construction zone -

Construction zone -

Please ignore the mess... (You'll recognize our house by the seven boxes containing sand stacked at the front door...) :D

As Paul indicated, our house is a construction zone as we prepare for the new 340G tank move (Next Saturday!) So please enjoy time looking at our (2) existing tanks and take a look at the new fish equipment room. The light system is on sawhorses in there right now, about 80% complete. The lights will give you an idea as to the footprint of the new tank... :eek1:

See you later!

I think George, that your home and "build" will be a highlight of the tour.

All I can say for mine is that Im tired of cleaning....100 square feet of glass and acrylic is a real pain. Hopefully it is worth it.

Your tank always looks spectacular Paul! I agree though Georges house will be a great stop to see construction in action

Thank you, to everyone that worked at putting this event together! And thanks to everyone that came by, we enjoyed having you come by.

Thanks to all...

Thanks to all...

Thanks to all who visited. We enjoyed sharing our tanks and look forward to seeing yours next year.

Well when it was all said and done, Susie and I put 261 miles on the P T Cruiser. It was a fun trip and I picked up some great tips and Ideas for the future 300 gallon build.
Greg, you have some awesome Frags going there and if that Damsel ever needs a new home let me know.
Teresa, I regret not getting any pictures. I was so enthralled in looking in every tank that I forgot about the camera around my neck. The balled up school of clowns were sooo cool. Those engineer gobies will make somebody good pets someday.
Chad, I applaud your patience in getting your tank set up. It will continue to grow and will be a spectacular reef tank.
Glenn, all I can say to you is that I am glad the club has entrusted the frag program to you.
I could go on and on but George, Ed and Paul all know how much I respect their work in the aquarium hobby.
Over all I want to thank everyone for sharing their homes and tanks with us and letting us ask all of the questions that might sound silly to those that have several years in the hobby.

I had a great time...but then I love to show my tank off.

I wanted to thank everyone for stopping by yesterday.

I also wanted to than Ed for putting the tour together. I think the day was great.

P.
