Come along, I'm starting a 24 gallon from scratch!

Amanda!!! You're getting sooo close! :D When I can find a spare minute, I will give you a call this weekend--but always feel free to call anytime.

Congrats on the new 90, RJ! I know you've spent a considerable amount of time planning this new tank already, and I'm sure your effort will pay off. Just as the others, I can't wait to see its progress. :)

Well, I have some news to share myself: this past weekend, I somehow managaged to acquire a tank of four beautiful H. Reidi horses! I'm still in shock over the event, but I have managed to take a few decent pics of them. Literally given to me was one pair (amd the male is currently pregnant), a BIG female (nicknamed "Big Mama" rather appropriately due to her size), and a little pony who makes up for her lack of size in personality. Here are a few pics and further descriptions -

The tank - 35 high with perfect (dim) lighting for horses. Aquascaping wasn't easy, as I wanted to provide a few caves yet keep the overall look more open so the horses would always be visible. They seem to love hitching onto the large, faux coral in the front of the tank, and the previous owner said it helped bring out their vibrant color, so I'm keeping it!

Here's "Big Mama." She is honestly the largest Hippocampus (seahorse) I have ever seen

More to come...stay tuned :)

His mate. She was the first to eat the frozen mysis (all were eating only live ghost shrimp initially)

Kayla that is awesome, I'm so happy for you! I miss my horses so much, mine looked just like yours :(

Make sure you have a couple pumps in that tank!!

Amanda

Outstanding, that is just great. So this is an entirely different tank, which means you have two Seahorse tanks now... right..

If everyone is showing off there new tanks, I might as well join in! Heres my new 80 gallon. Nothing special yet, but I'm working on it.

Bump....Any new pics Amanda? Have you seen those new tanks that look just like JBJ 24's but have a glass lid so you can use the JBJ HQI or the new Sunpaq HQI? I saw one today at my LFS and I really liked it.
