Team RC
The East Tennessee Reef Club's July meeting will be held at the Coral Reef on Kingston Pike Friday July the 21st at 6:00. All are invited to attend:)

We will be meeting to share "reef stories" as always but also performing a fragging demonstration with 2 different corals. I will post exact corals later....so far it will be a premium grade zoanthid and probably a nice LPS.

Frags will be available to take home to all ETRC members free of charge. I will also bring some purple edged Montipora Foliosa from my own tank so anyone that likes a piece, member or not, will be able to take home a good starter SPS frag. Members will be able to take home three frags for just showing up!

Membership is only $24 for the entire year and includes a 10% discount at the Coral reef all year as well as other benefits at the Coral Reef that are currently in the works. In addition to the 10% discount members will get significant discounts on all livestock during the meeting (I will post the exact discount later:) )

A raffle will also be held with several harder to find coral frags (zoanthids and SPS) that everyone that attends, member or not, will be able to win!

So if you are a serious reefer, someone looking to get into the hobby or somewhere in between come out and see what ETRC is all about and enjoy some fellowship with some of the finest fish nerds in east Tennessee:D

Sea ya there, Chris

You are correct sir! It's the 20th. I checked twice and I still got it wrong. Why does that always happen with club meeting threads? :p

Chris

I'll be there... Might be able to get Ashley to come depending on when she gets off work... :D

What are we going to do about food??? Maybe we can go out afterward??? Or maybe have pizza there or something???

Eating afterward will be kinda late for me. I guess before is a little early to give people time to get off work etc.... Pizza sounds ok to me. Maybe good pizza (something besides the usual) if yall know any good pizza places on that side of town????

I'll try and get the website updated properly to reflect recent events and to post about the meeting (including directions and phone #). For some reason the site isn't letting me log on. I've already sent a message to the host. Hopefully I'll hear back soon.

My first ETRC meeting ever was at the pizza place next to the old Coral Reef location. That was a pretty good meeting. It was a nice raffle prize, too, compliments of the Coral Reef. At the new location, I suppose we could put a grill on the front sidewalk and by something from the neighbors to cook. :D

The neighbors wares would be scrumptious but expensive:eek1:

Stefano's sounds good to me. I haven't eaten their pizza in ages either.

The two corals we will frag will be the previously mentioned premium grade zoanthid and Coral Reef has decided to donate a nice red with green centers Blastomussa merleti:D
Thanks Coral Reef!
So looks like we won't need the tile saw. It's branching so it should be fairly easy to frag.
The zoanthids have come in as different things lately but the three I saw at the store today were a bam bam orange, a Miami Dolphins and a blue centered green skirt that was actually my favorite:)

thanks, Chris

I bet you mean these:

They are very nice looking!

hay thos are mine did u jack thos out of my gallery lol . some body brought thos in the store cant rember who. but they said they are the evilmels

Yes I did, I thought you had your hand in the cookie jar first. They dont look like Evil Mel's unless your color is really off on your shot. My EM's are purple and green. And a big splotch of green in the center. As Chris said "They had a "mottled" lighter blue in the center" so I obviously jumped to the conclusion that you got the first hand in the cookie jar.
