Coming back!!!

I've been out of the hobby for the past couple years. We moved to a new house and didn't really have room for an aquarium. At the old house I was tinkering with a Biocube 29 and had just bought a 90 gallon and a 65 gallon reef tanks. The idea was a reef setup with a display refugium and a 30 gallon sump. I was also accumulating all kinds of reactors, controllers, etc.

Anyway, the never used tanks have been in storage and the Admiral gave me her blessing to set up the 90 gallon in the new house!!! :bounce3:

I've been skimming the forum to re-educate myself. There is so much I have forgotten. I'm going to try to restrain myself and take it slow this time - I at least remember a lot of mistakes from rushing the last tank.

Thanks in advance for answering my stupid questions!!!

Good luck, it's funny how the first thing everyone tells you when you start the hobby is take it slow. But for some reason we have to learn the hard way. Something very addictive about adding things to the reef that is hard to resist.

Welcome back! I had my own 2-year hiatus from reefing back around 2000. They changed practically everything in those two years. But for the better! My best advice is 'yes to a sump' and 'splurge on a good skimmer.'
