I have a 26 gallon bowfront that is in hypo right now and I want to put it back to full salt.Would a 5 gallon water change at a one time be alright?I was thinking of doing a water change every 2 days until I am back at full salt.Any different suggestions?

In that case, you must go from 1.009 to 1.025/6 in increments of 0.002 per day. So basically, 8 days.

When you are raising salinity, you don't have to do a water change. Just siphon out the requisite amount of tank water, add salt to the calculated SG, mix thoroughly and add back to the tank. I've done this on countless occasions since most online wholesalers ship their fish at around 1.018 (I keep my DT at 1.026).

Taking salinity down can be more rapid but bringing it up takes time. Snorvich hit the nail on the head. Remember to you will have a cycle when it comes back up so be prepared for more water changes.
