Just wanted to post a picture to get some feedback on my progress. Its been just about a year since I started my first tank. Also moved to a new house about 8 months in!

Looks good. Are the rocks newer than the tank though? Seems like you have coralline everywhere except your rocks.

Rocks are original live rock bought when i started the tank and Ive been wondering the same thing. Not sure why the coralline won't grow more than some patches on the rocks.

Looks good to me.

Looks better then my 1 year old tank that I've been battling algae problems since the get go.

Looks great so far. Action packed for sure. Are those pvc pipes in the back returns? I would have them at the surface, to keep them out of sight and to keep them from syphoning during a power failure.

I like it. Simple rock work with lots of space and variety of corals and plenty of fish for movement. You should be proud.

If I were going to make a change I would at least pull the returns and paint them black.

Very nice! A nice balance of rock and free space. I have a lot of free swimming space in my 90 gal tank and keep about 30 lbs of the rock in a refugium to free up the DT. Congrats!

Very nice indeed!!! Mine certainly didn't look that good at one year. I'd also like to know how big the tank is too.

Sorry for the delayed response! Thanks for all the comments! The tank is 120g. I have a 55g sump plumbed from the basement. The pipes are returns and I had plumbed them down so far to add additional flow. Funny someone mentioned a siphon issue in case of power failure - about 3 months in I woke up to a flood due to just that. Drilled some tiny holes just below the water level to prevent it happening again. I may paint them black, because I agree they are somewhat unsightly.

Looking good. Be sure to clean those holes regularly, they can plug up and wouldn't do what you want them to.

That's what I thought... the regal tang is going to out grow this tank please be aware of that.
