Comline Wavebox

I am installing a Comline Wavebox in my 75 gallon (48 x 18 x 21) Aqueon pre-drilled tank. Here is a schematic showing where the overflow box is located in the tank: http://www.aqueonproducts.com/products/predrilled-aquariums.htm

The overflow box is 4" deep by 9.5" wide. Assuming I install the Wavebox in the rear corner farthest from the overflow box, should I place the Wavebox flush with the corner or move it out four inches from the rear wall to take into account the overflow box? Thanks.

It's possible you will get a better wave if the Wavebox is moved out from the corner, but I would first try it with it flush with the back wall. I think you'll find that it won't make a large difference one way or the other. It may take a little trial and error to see what works best for your tank.
