Let me start by saying this, to all I made mad I am sorry.
I got all defensive simply because I was told by another member in your club that this could be a good idea to tell people about. So I figured I would just simply post on here saying that, I found this and this is what I thought of it.
I am not a master electrician, I just know that it worked for me for two days while I did not have power.
The items that were powered were
a
LG Fridge (do not know the wattage - was told earlier it was ~300 to 400 watts)
Mag 9.5 return pump (93 Watt)
Stealth Heater (300 watts)
My TV and Cable Box (do not know wattage on this)
I turned on my t-5 lights (2 48inch lights - 23 watts each)
Table Lamp with 13 Watt Spiral Compact
Total watts ran - about 800 not counting my TV
All in all I thought it was a good generator, I do not know if it is or not nor do I care I am just letting people know that this worked for me during this power outage.
So I feel like I should say this is what I thought of it, I am sure you all have a preference . I paid 110 dollars for this generator and it managed to save me thousands of dollars by running my tank. I am sure lots of people would have given a lot just to have their tank running this last week. That was presisley why I posted this because not everyone can afford to go spend the extra 50-5000 dollars on a 2400 watt or bigger generator.
My thoughts are this if you are going to spend $50 more then well $50 more could get you the next model up, eventually you could have just bought the biggest. It wasn't a matter of well its a 100 bucks for me it was simply, if you do not have the money to spend for a generator this is a option to just run the important items.
I totally understand that everyone has a idea and a opinion, this is my idea and my opinion. I know there is bigger and better out there as I am sure everyone else does. Not everyone can go buy the best even if it is just 50 dollars more.
IT comes down to this, this saved my tank, until you have used it dont bash it.
Some people got by using a battery powered air pump, and cooking water on a camping stove. All in all this would save a tank, IT saved mine.
So to Itzme I am sorry I jumped your case.
