Communication Error, Error Code 28

Hello

I am the owner of a Profilux 3. For long time I was using a serial to USB cable to connect it to my Computer (Win7 64bit).

Profilux 3 firmware is using 5.05f firmware.

Yesterday, I tried to connect again to the interface of Profilux via my computer. I recieved the message "Communication Error, Error Code 28"

I bought new Serial to USB cable, the same problem
I connected the Profilux to my computer using USB to USB cable, the same problem
I tried 2 other computes (using both Win7 32 and 64bit) the same problem.

What can I do?

Hi. Did you recently run Windows Update and patch your system? This happened to me, and I traced it back to Windows update. If you can, restore Windows to an early date, and see if the issue persists.

I actually had to update my firmware and the PLC software to resolve the issue. Works great now running 5.13.

Missing USB driver, driver requires to be installed, error 28 means no connection found due to no driver or wrong driver typically.
