Comparing two RODI units.

Either will do fine, I would go with BRS myself for the lower price and they have done well for me for several years.

+1 I have a BRS 5 stage. The only thing I did was upgrade the RO membrane because I was chewing through DI resin like it was PEZ. My incoming TDS was 370 at its best and at about 95% rejection, the DI just didn't last very long. I upgraded to a 98% rejection membrane from Spectrapure and couldn't be happier.

I have the output line plumbed into a 32 gallon Brute trash can, using a float valve to shut off the water. While they can fail, it is great not having to keep checking your container when filling your reservoir.
 
I agree either one will work great but on either one you will want to add in a pressure gague and a TDS meter, these are things that really help narrow down problems and when to change filters
