Can a long tentical plate touch a brain? Mine was and where it was touching the brain is now receding Hopefully it will recover, I moved the LTP to another tank. I would have thought they could have touched no problem. Am I mistaken? I am sure nothing else could have happened to the brain. I have had it for almost a year and its been in captivity for I know at least 5 years total so its very healthy. Thanks for any help.

LTP's have a very nasty sting. How long were they touching? That will play a big role in it.

At least 4-6 weeks. The LTP was deflated last night and I just noticed. It only touched when they were both real poofed up. I had no clue a LTP could be so nasty. What would the chances be of a recovery on the brain? I will get a pic up in a bit... I had another brain receed after a mag float cut it but it healed real nice so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks!
