Roger I have two of the 7410P Turbell's with a 7093 controller. I am thinking of adding two 6100's as well. Will they work with the same controller or will the 7410's work with the 7095 controller.

I guess what I am asking is will I need to get a new controller for the 6100's

It can work either way, both ways require an adapter cable, the plugs were very slightly different, I think they even can fit one into the other but the control voltage changed over the years and this could cause a problem. I need to look up the cables, we don't sell very many of them and I don't stock them anymore but I can certainly get them in.

Excellent! Are there any benefits to the newer controller that I would not have keeping my current one?

The answer to this will determine which adapters I purchase :D

Their are many, I will get back to you tomorrow on this because the cable price might help you decide, I seem to remember it was $10 to go one way but $25 to go the other.

Sorry, both cables cost $26.77.

The cable 7094.200 is to run an old pump on a new controller. Cable 7093.200 is to run a new pump on an old controller. 7094 and 7095 are cross compatible with no converter, same with 7092 and 7093. The 7095 will have shorter interval- down to 1 second. The addition of a new program which idles one pump while pulsing the other. A built in moonlight with 29day lunar cycle. Much more feedback on pump output by bar graph display, similar to a stereos graphic equalizer but just done with stack of square LED's. It also has done away with the switches in favor of a soft touch membrane for programming.

BTW, I need to check on cable availability, they sell so few, like 10 per year that I am pretty sure they are made to order so some patience will likely be required for the electrician to get the time to make them. They were more popular when we first switched controllers but their is not much call for them anymore.

Sounds great Roger thanx! Please order me two of the ones to run the older pumps on the 7095...If you still have my info from my last parts order...

Stephen Pollock

Thanx!

I can order them but I don't have your cc info, I do have your shipping info, we can take care of that when they arrive, don't hesitate to remind me. I will order them on Friday with my weekly order.

Excellent! Once again, this is why this vendor forum has to be the top rated of all on RC...excellent info and service!

Thank you sir! I will shoot you a PM on Friday to remind you to order them...:D

Picked up my 6100's and 7095 last night....wow! I likey the new controller! still playing with all the different flow options!

Food for thought and this is not to be considered as a complaint. Maybe pass the word along to the powers that be...

The moonlight on the 7095... Can the beam be widened a bit? Mine is mounted about 4" off the water so that the sensor is in the light path, and it is a pretty focused beam...maybe they can adjust for future models?

just food for thought!
Thanx Roger!

Happy Tunze Customer!

Disregard moonlight comment. I just read some other threads and found out it is designed to be mounted at an angle across the tank not straight down.

Thanx!
