Compatibility Issue

So, as a few of you may, know, I'm planning on setting up a 5 gallon reef system. I asked a worker at my LFS(She seemed pretty knowledgeable) for fish suggestions, and she suggest I buy a Masked Goby, and possibly a Tiger Pistol Shrimp.
My problem is that I cannot find any resources online of someone pairing these two creatures. Does anyone know if Masked Gobies and Tiger Pistol Shrimps are compatible?

I haven't heard of a masked goby pairing with a shrimp. Yasha gobies and pistol shrimp make good pairs. Fun to watch them in the tank.

yellow watchman's pair easily and are much cheaper and more available than the Yasha IMO. although the Yasha's are beautiful fish.

You would be better off with an Orange Stripe Prawn Goby or an Orange Spotted Goby they are suited to smaller tanks. The yellow watchman needs at least a 30 gallon.

Looking at these fish sizes, I know I can't keep them in my tiny 5 gallon tank. I'll likely plan on keeping just a Masked Goby.

I would ask them to order in a yasha goby for you. The goby and shrimp make an awesome pair.

Imo, the yasha is a much better looking goby also

My Orange Spotted Goby paired up with a new Tiger Pistol Shrimp right away. I just love watching the two of them together.
