Compatibility of Tangs....

If by 120 gallon you mean 4'x2'x2' then neither. Both the naso and unicorn are too big for this tank. If the tank was in the 8' to 10' range then you could probably get both and the'd get along. They are both pretty peaceful and given enough space it should work out. Again, a 120 isn't gonna do it for either let alone both.

So is it the length of the tank? swim room?
The last Naso I had in a 75g a few years back did very well. He eventually outgrew the tank and I sold him to a local reef store.

I'll repeat and clarify...since I have both in my tank. (they get along fine)

Absolutely NO WAY on the N. unicornis. Gets too large for a 120 and does so VERY fast. Don't even consider this fish for a 120. It is just like N. vlamingi in this respect.

I'll concede a small N. elegans won't outgrow your tank as quickly.

Like they mentioned try to get fish that you wont have to keep trading out. Both of these fish will get big fast, the unicorn ridiculously fast.
