Compatibility Questions

I'm contemplating adding some new fish. I will be keeping a mixed reef and maybe add a clam, or a RBTA in the future.

Right now I have a Occellaris clown that has been with me 6 years. I added a Randall's Goby last month. He is doing fine.

Here's my list of possibilities:

Harptail Blenny
Starry Blenny
Bicolor Blenny
Tailspot Blenny
Hectors Goby
Kaudern Cardinalfish (keep at least 2)
Coral Beauty Angel
Eibli Dwarf Angel
Pygmy Angelfish

I guess my compatibility question concerns whether similar fish would fight. Namely the Blennies and Gobies if mixed. I would not keep 2 of anything unless I got the cardinals.Would only keep one species of dwarf Angel if I kept any at all. I'm afraid of them eating coral and maybe future clam.

Always a chance pygmy angels will pick! Starry blennies are great! Graze all day and mine loved swing in the higher flow!

Did you ever decide anything on this? What did you end up going with I have a current setup pretty close to your's on this and have been looking at the same types of fish. Curious your decision and results?

My tailspot blenny doesn't pick at anything & gets along with the goby. I think my goby is more timid than the tailspot but the blenny was put in first & sometimes acts like he owns the tank. I get dirty looks during water changes & then he has to get all the sand or detrius out of his cubby hole. Great personality for a fish!
