I'd just like to hear some suggestions on what species of shrimp and algae would be beneficial to keep with dwarf seahorses ( H. Zosterae). My tank Is a 55 gallon. Thanks!

55 gallons ?

how many dwarf seahorses ?

how do u keep track of them and find them ? lol I loose my lion fish in my 65 sometimes lol

and to answer the Q, I dont think any shrimp.

Mysid shrimp work well in dwarf tanks.
I've never heard of anyone keeping dwarfs in a 55g tank.
Is it partitioned off in sections?
How many are there?
How do you handle bioload with needing so many bbs to feed in a 55g?
How long have you had them?

YIKES!!! Zots in a 55 gal? Keeping the feeding density up in that size tank would be a full time job. Besides, to see them, you'd likely need about 120 of them.

However, to answer your question, red lava shrimp (Halocaridina rubra) are safe for zots.

everything mentioned and, one of my favorite crustaceans, the skeletonshrimp. though not technicaly a shrimp, stil la realy cool animal, and great food.

How goes it with you getting them up there?

I have around that many in a 40 liter & I still cannot see them. Not to worry they are being moved to tank #2 soon, #3 a bit later & #4 in about two months.

Lol! I Noe it sounds crazy But I still don't hav em' lol !!!
And yes it's gonna b divided in 2 sections. One us gonna hav da dwarfs and the other one is gonna b 2 flagtail pipefish wid 2 firefish 1 yellow watchman goby.
As of rite now I only hav da yellow watchman da 2 firefish and the 2 flagtail pipefish. Da tank has like a pound of caulerpa and around 20 pounds of live dats very porous so b4 I put any of the fish I added Copepods (dr.g's) and scuds from my 100 gal tank. So they multiplied like crazy and were everywhere from the filter floss to the sand. Then I put the 2 firefish (they do everything together so im guessing they are a couple) da yellow watchman and lik a month ago the pipefish. By the way they're a pair already.
Haven't mated but I hope they will soon. Wat about algae? Which species are good? Thanks for y'all input!
