Compatibility

Being of similar shape, how would a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse and a Candy Hogfish get on? How about a Pearly Jawfish harem with a Purple or Helfrich Firefish? Trying to make some stocking decisions...

Fyi, these fish will be for a 90 gallon tank with a minimal look rock'scape. Lots of room for swimming, not a whole lotta hiding spots!

I think pearly jawfish are supposed to get along with pretty much everything. My LFS had a small group of them in the same 25G-ish tank with several other small, peaceful fishes and had no problems. If you decide to go with the jawfish, post pics! I love jawfish.

I already have the Jawfish. Jawfish are definitely pretty peaceful, but lots of other fish pester them or stress them out. I was more worried about the Firefish harassing the Jawfish. I had a 2 1/2" Kole tang in my tank and he pestered the Jawfish so much I had to remove him. A friend of mine had a Yellow Watchman Goby that pestered his Jawfish real bad too.

I have a McCosker's on order, and they have a Candy Hog in stock that I was really liking. If they will get along I will buy both and add them at the same time.
