Compatibilty

Hi, I'm setting up my first tank and I've set up a list of possible stock. I was wondering if all these fish are compatible?
Any suggestions about what other fish and what invertebrates could go in the same tank with these guys would be awesome.

Evansi Anthia

Powder blue tang

Sebae clownfish

it's a temorary set up. It's probably going to be only about 40 gallons.
I was thinking 3 anthias, 1 small tang, and a pair of the clownfish.

40g is too small for any anthias, or tang.

Not being the police here, but they will become stressed, sick and most likely die in such a small space.

I agree with Zaita. Too small for any tang or anthia. Some of the fish that would do all right in a 40 are several of the damselfish, 6 line wrasse, orchid dottyback, clown goby, jawfish, firefish and some of the clowns and cardinals. Obviously avoid mixing passive and aggressive fish.

A note on the anthias:

A single specimen can be kept in a 40G tank. However, the biggest seller for anthias (other than their stunning colors) is the way they shoal. If you really want to go through the trouble (long qt, deworming, multiple daily feedings), a single evansi can be kept in a 40G.
