I have, in the past month, purchased serveral items manufactored by Tunze, and presumably imported by your company. This forum has been a huge contibutor to my decision to go with Tunze- I have seen the support others have received. Having worked most of my life in customer service, I understand how it is difficult to judge how much new and repeat business good customer service brings. As such, I offer this example.
A while back, you handled an issue with an airline coming loose from the venturi in a 9010. In that case, you ended up bring the unit in for service. Reading that account was part of the reason I was convinced to buy Tunze brand names. In fact, I experianced the same issue with my 9010, but was able to correct the issue based partly on your post, and partly on the less-helpfull-then-your-post manual. You may have had to pay for shipping before, but you made a sale and saved a return later on.
For as long as you continue to stand behind the Tunze name, and the manufactor continues to put out the quality I have come to expect since I've begun using their products, you will have a customer here.
