I have 2 Oscellaris clownfish. One is a standard Oscellaris, which is a female (or will be). The other is a black oscellaris.
The female I've had for over a month now. She has been doing great up until about a day or 2 ago. After feeding, she kind of ran to the corner where a smal cave area is and hid there on the sand for about an hour. Today after feeding she kind of did the same thing but only for about 5mins.
Is this a sign that I'm feeding to much? For my little male to eat, I have to use cyclopeeze because the pellets are stll a bit to big. I also have a Chromis who won't eat the pellets and instead only eats my flake food. Should I stop feeding the pellets until my small oscellaris is big enough to eat them and I can get off the cyclopeeze?
I also have a problem with my male. Last night I noticed some "stuff" on his right gill area. It looks like a small amount of algea (detritus?) that stuck to him. I didn't think anything of it since they both sleep next to my MagFloat and figured it just rubbed some onto it. However, it still has it on it today and I'm worried it may be more then just something it rubbed into. It isn't a lot (2 small specks) and only on his right side. Any thoughts? I'll try to get pictures tonight. I dont know how to use this new camera and need my brother to dump them to my pc.
