Concrete Experience?

Anyone have any concrete experience and or any concrete tools? I need to put in my shower pan in the basement and need to pour a thin slab for the pan to set into... Plus fill in the floor around the drain pipe. I've only used the quick setting non mixing stuff that is used for setting fence posts and not sure how wet or dry I need the mix. Figure it shouldn't take more than an hour to do, but I can't afford to screw this up. Anyone able to lend their expertise?

It's been a long while since I did any work like this, but you want a dry mix so you can form it.

I dont know haw big the slab is but i would get 2 bags of quick sett and i will come over eney time you want I can do it on Sat if you want im not doing eney thing all day but its your call and i have the concrete tools to do it with.
