Condi stinging everything!!

Hello all,

I have a pink tip condi that has been attached to the same rock for a long while. It seemed very happy and content. In the last 2 days it has dropped from the rock and now floats/moves around the tank and is stinging everything. It has already had a run in with my Hammer head coral, LTA and my sun coral. It will not seem to re-attach. In my frustrations I tried to grab it and move it, but it almost seemed to run away. Any ideas on why it's doing this? Should I get rid of it? Any tricks to making them stay put?

PH- 8.2-8.3
Sal - 1.024-.025
Alk - 9.9
Amonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 5-10
Calc - 430
temp 79-80

Thanks alot.

If everything is ok with the water, then I would pick up the anemone(with gloves) and put it in a spot where there is four rocks around it. Then I would point a power head in its direction, not directly at it though. Most anemones like a good water flow. A moving anemone is an unhappy anemone.

By LTA do you mean you also have a Long-Tentacled Anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis) in with the Condy? If so, and they're both in a 55, then that could be the cause. The two need not be touching to irritate one another.
