condy and scorpionfish

Has anyone else ever witnessed a scorpionfish unphased by the sting of an anemone? I'm wondering if he cannot be stung due to the mucus that scorpionfish have on their skin. I know this makes them immune to most parasites, but I am curious if anyone has documented accounts of them being immune to an anemone.

Your assumption would also be my own. Some anemone's can be very mild or lose their sting all together if conditions are right, or wrong I suppose.

I added a red fin Waspfish to my Coldwater tank and was eaten by my painted anemone is just a few seconds of being introduced. Painteds have a stickiness similar to carpets though.

I bet that was a very sad day. The anemone that I have is just a Condylactis gigantea, but he is show size and he has the capability to stick to my fingers pretty well. I was just worried because I noticed him rubbing up against him, but the scorpionfish never seemed startled and he's always been okay. Of course, I tried to do some research to see if anyone else has experienced this, but if you ever search for a list of fish that are immune to anemones, you only seem to get a million articles about anemonefish.
