condy anemone frag

I have a condilactis anemone and I whant to frag it. How can I do it.

Blender. You'll have lots of frags that way.

One thing..you don't frag an anemone ..they split on their own.

to many multiples to say if you can even do it succesfully, i believe phender fragged his martens carpet anemone.

Plenty of people frag or propagate anemones. Not all species of anemone split.

Your best bet at fragging the Condy is to use a really sharp knife or razor blade and make as clean a cut as you possibly can, cutting as equally through the foot and mouth as you can.

There is a lot more to it than just cutting it and tossing it back into your tank though, and since I've never done it I'm not sure what else to tell you. If you can get a forum search to turn anything up, maybe that would help you.

Also, I know that RedSonja propagates her BTAs on a regular basis, she'd be a great one to ask for some advice. Maybe shoot her a PM.

that was do to equipment problems(i.e. micro bubbles)
