Condy anemone

I have this condy and I was wondering if there's anything I can feed it, meat or supplements, that would really help it thrive. Right now I feed it brine shrimp a few times a week.

I feed mine krill, sand eels, silverside minnows, and chopped fresh fish and shrimp. He/she/it is growing and doing well. My tomato clown feeds it too at times.

Will condy anenomes host clowns?
They aren't really supposed to, but I think that if you leave a clown in a tank with a condy long enough, if there's no other anenomes, that it will eventually take to it. My friend's clown settled for his condy after being around it for about 2 months.

The question is, will clowns host a Condy and will a Condy accept a clown. I have a female Tomato Clown and a Condy and the Tomato has no interest in the Condy. All of its attention right now is on the hammer. I am hoping it will host the Condy. That would be neat.

Anemones like good flow, plenty of light and good water quality. They also need additional supplements of meaty foods such as silversides. Good luck.

Oh, btw, do you have any picutes of it icepick5587?

Condy anenomes are cool looking but I am not going to try an anenome right now. I have a huge carpet that is on a killing spree for gobys and blennys. I have to take him and the clarkie clown in him back to my LfS. I will miss my little clown. Well she is not so little any more.

Here is a pic. Sorry it is kinda blurry becasue of my bad photography skills.

it is but my carpet is way to big for my tank. It takes up about 1/3 of the tank.

Since that picture my carpet has trippled in size.

I run a MH that was givin to me by a friend. That carpet has killed my gold headed sleeper goby and my midas blenny.

Yup. My friend was taking down his 150 gallon and he gave me the the Clarkei Clown, Purple Tang, my Clam and an unwanted coral branded shrimp.

That pink tip condy is going to eventually outgrow that tank just to let you know. And watch to see if it moves. You don't want that to intrude on your other inverts because Condy Anemones have one hell of a sting.
